Weight Limit: Body weight must not exceed 150 kg.
Age Requirement: Must be 20 years of age or older.
Diet & Medication: Fasting is not required. Avoid high-fat meals and alcohol before your appointment. Continue regular medications unless advised otherwise.
Seek medical advice or schedule a pre-consultation with a NURA doctor if you have any of the following:
- Pacemakers, coronary stents, or a history of heart surgery.
- Cancer-related conditions (post-surgery, or currently undergoing/have undergone chemotherapy or radiotherapy).
- Advanced organ-related conditions, including heart, kidney, or liver failure.
- Blood disorders, Ongoing dialysis treatment., Long-term steroid use.
Not Eligible for:
CT Scan: If you are pregnant, actively trying to conceive, or have undergone a CT scan within the past 3 months. (If you had a CT scan within 3 months, a consultation with a NURA doctor is recommended.
Colposcopy: If you have active inflammation of the cervix, are over 65 years of age, or are currently menstruating. (Ideal scheduling is at least 7 days after the last day of menstruation).
Mammography: If you are pregnant, actively trying to conceive, breastfeeding, have breast augmentation, or have a pacemaker.
